Diversion rate of 6.2 percent announced in Budget 2011
Budget 2012:
Landfill Tax diversion rate was decreased from 6.2% to
5.6%.
The Government also issued a challenge to EBs to
reduce their level of unspent funds by a further 10% from the March
2010 base line by 31 March 2013, with a corresponding increase in
project expenditure.
